Fabric Ink Bases
Aquatex Fabric Ink base's are used for printing clear/ transparent lines or designs, when mixing your own custom pigments and for printing dissapearing lines onto patchwork and other items.
Pigmentation is microscopic, giving you deep rich colour using a smaller amount of ink with greater colour penetration and adherence into the material.

Heat Setting
Fabric inks require heat setting to activate the pigments and set the ink to the material. The temperature required must be hot enough to firstly evaporate the water based medium, then set the pigments (minimum 150°C depending on the material to be heat set), a household iron, Ink Setting Heat Press or commercial tunnel dryer are recommended.
